A Survival Kit to Deal with the (Not Provided) Apocalypse

Where did my data go?Those of us who have been paying attention to the (not provided) count have been wondering what was up with the huge spike in visitors with their keyword data stripped out. Well the answer is finally here, Google has switched all of their searches to encrypted HTTPS searches. That means, most likely tomorrow, all organic keyword data will be gone from your analytics package of choice. Notice I said organic keyword data, that’s because Google will still be providing paid keyword data for their advertisers. As someone who lives and breaths analytics data in order to drive digital marketing strategies, I have been paying attention to any and all tips that have been published to help cope with this inevitable loss of valuable data, here are some of my favorites:
